horse Trailer Rental




Need to find a place for horse trailer rental?

Well idk if it exist, but I was wondering if I could rent a horse trailer for just a few hours? I don't have my own, but I'm changing stables and I can't ride her there. Lol. I know there are people who can come, but I was wondering if I could just rent it and attach it to my truck and bring it back kind of like a uhaul? Anyone done this before?
Any tips on what's a good price to pay? You said something about how much I'm willing to pay... It's about 20 miles a combined trip from my stable to my new stable.

Uhaul offers horse trailers in some areas. Or put an add up at the local feed store, or talk to the new stable they might know of some one who can help you. There are also horse hauler companies you can find online.

EDIT: I am sure you have but just to check did you speak with the new stable and see if they offer any trailering services? Is there any horse events in the area on a weekend? Make up a flyer and post it around the arena...most horse groups are very friendly and willing to help. Offer to pay for the fuel and an additional $50 dollars or what ever you think is good...It is hard to say what to pay since I have no idea how your horse hauls, how much other items you want hauled with the horse...and so on. In my area it is about $75 to fill up my truck so you would be looking at $125 or so if you use my estimate. Also ask if you can place a flyer up at the new stable looking for help to get your horse there...you might be amazed at how people will pull together to help you. Blessings
